SIIKU created an art installation for the Culture Night in Copenhagen with Greenlandic nature encapsulated in ice, along with digitally projected timelapse videos and dynamic LED-lighting. The two slowly melting ice sculptures were each coupled with a digitally projected, pre-recorded timelapse of a similar ice sculptures, giving visitors a taste of what was to come as the sculptures continued the melting process.
Children and adults alike felt an urge to take a closer look, shine a light and even touch the melting objects, loosing themselves in tiny details of the ice encapsulating natural items, frozen in time.
