A light art installation based on interhuman connectivity.

SIIKU’s contribution for Copenhagen Light Festival 2020 was titled CONEXUS – latin for ‘connection’.

Prominently placed upon the Christian IV Bridge in central Copenhagen, the light artwork is an abstract celebration of the connectedness of world – between humans and from humans to nature, of which we ourselves are an integral part.

Connection, community and unity of contrasts is a central point in the SIIKU Manifesto. CONEXUS communicates this point in the shape of a simple, sparkly wave, while drawing inspiration from tree roots, lightning and the synapses of the nervous system.
