For Copenhagen Architecture Festival CAFx 2022, SIIKU joined forces with To Øl and Mikropolis Cocktails for an art installation to explore the layers of place in our world.

The project presented two ice sculptures enfused with main beer brewing ingredients like hops and grains, aluminium beer cans, and speciments and color extracts of locally sourced city nature.

The sculptures were formed to match the shape of the omni-present sustainable beverage distribution container, the KeyKeg, and presented on a custom-made display consisting of these very containers.

Gradually melting throughout the evening, the ice sculptures were accompanied by a panel debate and film screening on urban planning as part of the CAFx festival program.

The event was realised in collaboration with Copenhagen Architecture Festival CAFx, BRUS Cph, To Øl and Mikropolis Cocktails.
